How to learn as Clergy

So how to learn as a Clergy member, simply put take your time with the courses, there are no rewards for reaching the end super quickly, the result is you aren't fully learning what we are teaching. The first degree begins your life as a clergy member and that initial journey takes a year and a day to give students enough time to embrace the entire wheel of the year and how each lesson applies itself. For example, learning Hermetics takes a while to master as there is a lot to digest and requires detailed notes. Living as a Pagan is meant to be slow as you adjust to your new life as a Witch, for example, classical British-Paganism (Anglo Saxons) only had three seasons tied to the wheel of the year to mirror the triple Goddess, so Spring, Summer and Winter which as letter changed as the world embraced for seasons which became the standard. Additionally each Holiday and mini Holiday needs to be fully mastered to further learning. Each Holiday has three parts, the prelude (understanding preparing for the Holiday), the holiday itself and its rituals and how those apply to your learning as clergy and lastly the post-holiday, a reflection on how you have grown with the wheel of the year. We find that students want to rush the lessons which means that learning things fully is really hard and causes students to fail courses or tests. The first degree is also designed to introduce crystals, candles, astrology and the basics of circle casting, rituals and ministerial life which should not be rushed, as with the second degree, lessons are amped up as we hope students have fully grasped the basics. The craft is designed to be a journey and no journey should ever be completed super quickly, so best advice is to slow down and embrace everything so that your journey is acceptable and worthwhile.

Blessings, Lady Selena

We are approaching the end of the year as the wheel turns. In Paganism we work alongside our Ancestors and the Divine, but it is at this time of the year when things are kicked up a notch to celebrate
